Fairfax County Police have arrested three adults and charged two teens, all from the Manassas area, related to a wild string of vandalism cases targeting parked cars in the Centreville area.

Fairfax County Crime Solvers announced the arrests Friday. Last week, Crime Solvers offered a reward in the case of at least 100 cars struck by BB-style projectiles between Feb. 2-18.

Travis Samuel Boykin Nokes, 22, of the 8100 block of Community Drive in Manassas, Ashley Nicole McPherson, 24, of the 200 block of Cabbel Drive in Manassas and Treyvon Tibbs, 18, of the 9800 block Buckner Road in Manassas were each charged with four counts of felony destruction of property and two counts of misdemeanor destruction of property. Two Manassas teens, 16 and 14 years old, are expected to face the same charges.

Police were called to the area of Bull Run Post Office Road around 4 a.m. Friday regarding a loud noise, according to the Crime Solvers release, noting several mailboxes had been smashed in the area.

Authorities pulled a vehicle over near Sudley Road. Further investigation led to the charges for the five suspects. The investigation is still ongoing and additional charges are possible.

Many of the vehicles targeted in early February were parked on or near: Old Centreville Road, Skipton Court, Federation Drive, Singletons Way and Compton Lane.
