Police: Assault Arrest After Woman Punched in Face on Manassas Sidewalk
Victim was walking by a fight when man allegedly punched her, according to Manassas City Police.
A woman was punched in the face while walking by a brawl on a Manassas street earlier this week, according to Manassas City Police.
Luis Alonzo Escobar, 22, of the 8100 block of Cobden Court is charged with assault and resisting arrest. He was bonded at $1,500.
According to police, Escobar was involved in a fight among a large group of people Sunday at the intersection of Center Street and Main Street.
The victim, 30, was walking past the fight on the sidewalk when Escobar allegedly punched her, causing non-life threatening injuries to her face, according to police.
