Police: Beauty Supply Shop Latest Smash and Grab Target
Burglars have hit a string of local businesses in recent weeks.
Area police have, again, responded to a business victimized in an overnight smash grab in the Manassas area.
Near 3 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the Sally Beauty Supply Shop at 8395 Sudley Road in Manassas to investigate an alarm activation, according to Prince William County Police.
Officers arrived to find the front glass door was broken out. But no entry is believed to have been made into the business and nothing was reported missing.
A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect, according to police.
Previous businesses that were similarly burglarized include: Dunkin Donuts on Liberia Avenue, a Gainesville storefront, two businesses on Sudley Road and a trophy store on Liberia Avenue.
