Police: Car Driven by Manassas Teen Struck, Killed Bicyclist in Woodbridge

The name of deceased hasn't yet been released.

A Woodbridge bicyclist was struck and killed in front of C.D Hylton High School Friday afternoon by a car driven by a Manassas teen, according to a Washington Post report. 

It happened just before 3 p.m. when the 66-year-old Woodbridge bicyclist was riding on a sidewalk in front of the school, Prince William County Police told the Post. 

The 2008 Ford Mustang driven by the 17-year-old Manassas resident left the roadway and struck the bicyclist.

The Post reports the teenager does attend school in Prince William County but does not attend C.D. Hylton. 

The name of the bicyclist hasn't yet been released, pending notification of next of kin. 

No charges have been filed.
