Police: Driver Crashes Entire Car Into Home, Runs From Scene

Suspect in custody, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to Manassas City Police.

The suspect in a hit-and-run fled the scene after crashing his entire car into a home, according to the City of Manassas Police.

Eberardo Castillo, 23, of the 7900 block of Community Drive, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence maiming, two counts of felony hit and run and misdemeanor DUI. He is being held without bond.

At 5:15 a.m. Sunday officers arrived in the 9200 block of Bayberry Avenue to find Castillo's Dodge Challenger resting entirely on the lover level of a home.

One resident sleeping at the time of the incident suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Red Cross is assisting with his housing since the home was deemed unfit for occupancy, according to Manassas City Police.

Castillo allegedly fled the scene, according to police. He was located a short distance away on Lomond Avenue, suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was arrested without incident.
