Police: Group of Men Assault, Rob 20-year-old in Manassas Area

Prince William County Police are investigating the robbery which happened on Purdue Court on Saturday.

A 20-year-old man was assaulted and robbed while walking early Saturday morning in the Manassas-area of Prince William County. 

County police responded to the 7500 block of Purdue Circle just after 6 a.m. on Saturday where the victim told them he'd been attacked by a group of men. 

The victim said the group approached him and one of men assaulted him, calling him to fall, police reports show. 

While he was on the ground, another person in the group emptied the victim's pockets. The whole group ran away from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. 

No injuries were reported.  The victim hasn't been able to identify his attackers, so no arrests were made.
