Police: Gunman Robs CVS for Pain Meds

The man fled the scene in a red, Chevy Camaro.

An armed man robbed a Manassas area CVS Saturday morning, demanding that the employees turn over pain medications, according to Prince William County Police.

Employees reported to police around 9:22 a.m. that an unknown man had entered the store, approached the pharmacy and pulled out a handgun. He then demanded that the employees give him pain medication, said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.

The man jumped over the counter at one point, and grabbed the medicine. He then fled from the store in a new, red two-door Chevy Camaro.

No one was injured during the robbery. Police are searching for a black male, 20-25 years old, about 5'9", 160 pounds with a thin build and an unshaven face. He was wearing a gray hooded Hollister sweatshirt with a white bird/HCO symbol, tan shorts, black shin-high socks, black sunglasses and black tennis shoes.
