Police: Gymnastics Instructor Charged With Sex Assault of Child
Victim allegedly assaulted more than once between 1987 and 1988, according to Prince William County Police.
A gymnastics instructor near Manassas is facing charges regarding an alleged sexual assault in 1987 and 1988, according to Prince William County Police.
Parvis Youseffi, 71, of the 4400 block of Tullamore Estates Dr in Manassas, is charged with aggravated sexual battery. Youseffi was arrested Monday. He is being held without bond.
Detectives began an investigation in November regarding accusations that he assaulted a female student between 6-years-old and 8-years-old at GMS Institute Gymnastics. The assaults allegedly occurred more than once between 1987 and 1988.
Outside the gym Tuesday, NBC Washington spoke with parents of current students regarding the accusations.
