A man who died in a house fire in Gainesville early Thursday morning is identified as 65-year-old Stephen Frankenberg, Prince William County Police said.
Frankenberg was one of two people inside the Tackhouse Loop Drive home at the time of the blaze, but the other person wasn't injured, Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue officials said.
Firefighters responded to the house fire on the 8400 block of the loop at 5 a.m. Thursday morning.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the county fire marshal's office but no foul play is suspected.
