Police Make Arrest in Copper Thefts

Police in Manassas have arrested an area man believed responsible for stealing copper and other metal parts from several air conditioning units after he was caught on camera.

Police in Manassas City have arrested a man believed to be responsible .

A Manassas City Police Officer was patrolling the area of Forestwood Lane on July 25, when he located David Michael Holloway, of Edsall Road, who was wanted for questioning regarding several vandalisms and larcenies of air conditioning units back on Juy 12 and July 16 in the same area.

Further investigation revealed that Holloway, age 59, was responsible for the larcenies that occurred in the 9400 block of Forestwood Lane, police said.

Holloway was placed under arrest and charged with grand larceny. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center on a $3,500 bond, and his court date was set for August 16, 2012.
