Police Make Arrests in Manassas Armed Burglary

Seven or eight suspects entered a Manassas home on Wednesday, according to Prince William County Police.

Police charged three suspects in a Manassas armed burglary that happened Wednesday, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police initially responded to Margate Court in Manassas on 10:39 p.m. for a burglary in progress. 

"The homeowner reported to police that a group of seven or eight masked suspects forcibly entered the residence and stole several items including several laptops, two gaming consoles, an iPad and multiple pairs of shoes," Perok said. "One of the men was reportedly armed with a handgun. Three of the men fled the residence and got into a vehicle while the remaining suspects fled on foot."

Police found the vehicle matching that description near Dumfries Road and Purcell Road and arrested the three  occupants after a traffic stop. 

Deondre Demond Lanier, 19, of Woodbridge, is charged with burglaryconspiracy to commit a felonypossession of a stolen firearm, and using a firearm in commission of a felony. His court date is April 17, and he is being held without bond.

Khadrion Tavarie Gardner, 19, of Quantico is charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a stolen firearm, and using a firearm in commission of a felony. His court date is April 17, and he is being held without bond. 

A 16-year-old Dumfries male was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a stolen firearm, and using a firearm in commission of a felony. His court date is April 17, and he is being held at the juvenile detention Center.

Robbery Unit detectives are still trying to identify the remaining four or five suspects. Perok said the incident doesn't seem to be random.
