Police: Man Filed False Report After Woman Stole Drugs

Brandon William Gardner, 26, is charged with filing a false police report and distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic. Michelle Elizabeth L'Ecuyer, 22, is wanted for grand larceny.

Prince William County Police said that a man lied to police about being assaulted and robbed after a woman stole prescription medications he planned to sell to her.

Brandon William Gardner, 26, of Callan Drive in Manassas, was arrested on Nov. 11 and charged with filing a false police report and distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic. Michelle Elizabeth L'Ecuyer, 22, of Braddock Ridge Drive in Centreville, is wanted for grand larceny. 

Gardner had reported on the evening of Nov. 10 that an unknown man assaulted and robbed him of his prescription medications, said Prince William County Police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.

"Upon further investigation, it was determined that Gardner had arranged to sell prescription Oxycodone to an known acquaintance, L'Ecuyer," Perok said in a news release. "Once inside the residence, L'Ecuyer took the prescription medications and left the residence while Gardner was in another room."

Police arrested Gardner the following day. They also obtained a warrant for L'Ecuyer's arrest, but attempts to locate her have been unsuccessful.
