Police: Man Hit Victim in Face With Beer Bottle

Police are searching for the suspect who allegedly assaulted a Manassas man during an argument.

Prince William County Police are looking for a man who allegedly struck a Manassas man in the face with a beer bottle, then fled. 

Police responded to a call for help on the 10200 block of Winchester Court in Manassas on Oct. 28 at 1:07 a.m. The two men had been involved in an argument which escalated, Prince William County Police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said in a press release. 

"During the encounter, the man struck the victim in the face with a beer bottle causing a severe laceration," Perok said in the release. "Following the altercation, the victim returned to his residence nearby where police located him."

The victim went to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said, while the suspect fled before police arrived. 

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male with a medium build, blond hair, brown eyes, about 5-foot-5, 150 pounds, between 20-30 years old.
