Police: Man Robs Gainesville Game Stop With Knife

Prince William Police said the man stole two game consoles, fled in a Monte Carlo with "Official Pace Car" written on the sides.

Police are searching for a man who walked into a Gainesville Game Stop with a knife and walked out with two gaming consoles.

It happened Sunday at 5:55 p.m. just before the store was closing for the day, Prince William Police reports show.

Police said the suspect walked into the rear storage building holding a knife  and took two gaming consoles valued at $600 before leaving the store.

Witnesses told police he got inside the passenger side of a black, two-door Chevrolet Monte Carlo with “Official Pace Car” written on the sides.

The suspect is described as a white man between 25 and 30 years old.

He is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 180 pounds with a medium build, short brown hair and a goatee.

He was last seen wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans, a brown and red hat and a brown cardigan.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Prince William Police.
