Police: Man Stole Cell Phones From Cab Drivers

Suspect charged with grand larceny, Manassas City Police say.

A Maryland man stole the cell phones of two cab drivers in Manassas City recently, according to police. 

Justin Dwayne Roberson, 23, of Washington Lane, Fort Washington, Md., is charged with two counts of grand larceny, possession of stolen property, and possession of a controlled substance (PCP). 

Police said that the first cabbie reported the theft on August 1 at 4:30 p.m. on Maury Lane. The second cabbie reported the theft at 3:30 p.m. the next day, near the intersection of Richmond Avenue and Fairview Avenue. 

Roberson is held at the county jail pending a Sept. 30 court appearance.
