Police Narcotics Investigation Nets Arrests

Prince William County Police uncovered marijuana, mushrooms and other items at two local residences.

Prince William County Police recently arrested a local man and a teenager at the end of a narcotics investigation. 

Police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said that Richard James Ocksrider, 21, of the Manassas area, was charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a schedule I or II narcotic (mushrooms), and possession of a firearm with a narcotics. A 17-year-old male juvenile was also connected to the investigation, Perok said. 

Detectives from the Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at Ocksrider's residence on Kahns Road, and another on Arbee Court in Nokesville. They discovered marijuana, mushrooms, packaging material, a handgun and cash.

Ocksrider's court date is set for Feb. 1.
