Police on Lookout for Missing Gainesville Man

Man was reported missing by family members.

Prince William County Police are on the lookout for a Gainesville man that was reported missing by his family on Aug. 6. 

According to the police department, family members called police to report Kwang Kim missing from a residence in the 6800 block of Hollow Glen Court in Gainesville. 

Police said in a posting on their Facebook page that "it is believed that Kim may be suicidal."

Police said "Kim took a ferry from Loudon County to Montgomery County in Maryland yesterday around 5 p.m. Montgomery County police are assisting in the search for Kim in their jurisdiction." An investigation continues.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kim or anyone who may have seen him at the time of his disappearance is urged to contact Prince William County police at 703-792-6500.
