Police: Reward Offered in Church Break-Ins

Three churches targeted in the same night as burglars grab cash and one safe, according to Prince William County Police.

Officials are offering a $1,000 reward in the case of three Nokesville area churches broken into late Sunday or early Monday, according to Prince William County Police.

Staff at Asbury United Methodist Church, 14113 Fleetwood Dr, reported a burglary between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. A basement window had been pried open, but no property was reported missing.

At Victory Baptist Church, 12650 Aden Road, a side window was broken out. Several doors inside the building were pried open and an undisclosed amount of cash was reported missing.  

And staff at nearby Nokesville United Methodist Church, 12550 Aden Rd, reported that a burglar had pried open a front window. A safe and an undisclosed amount of cash was reported missing.
