Police Search for Suspected Ice Cream Cart Robber

Manassas City's Fugitive of the Week is suspected of robbing an ice cream cart vendor at knifepoint, police said.

Police in Manassas City are looking for a man suspected of robbing an ice cream cart vendor at knifepoint.

Police are looking for Daryl Ronnell Haley with known addresses in Manassas and Sterling after an ice cream cart vendor reported being robbed on Thursday, May 3, around 8 p.m. in the 8600 block of Liberia Ave.

The victim told police the man who robbed him displayed a box cutter or utility knife and was able to escape with an undisclosed amount of money.

Last know addresses for Haley are 104 Seneca Ridge Drive in  Sterling, VA  and 8682 Carlton Drive in Manassas. He is described as a black male in his early 40s, who is 6-fee- tall and 280 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Haley's whereabouts is asked to call the Manassas City Crime Solvers 24-hour tip line at (703) 330-0330. Callers may remain anonymous. A reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest is being offered.
