Police Seek Information in Home Burglaries

Manassas City Police is investigating two reported home burglaries.

Manassas City Police is investigating two reported home burglaries.

In the first incident, which occurred Thursday, March 10, police said a home in the 8800 block of Olde Mill Run was burglarized sometime between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Police said a an Xbox video gaming system, two controllers, four video games and a fire safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash and titles to two vehicles was taken from the home.

Police are also investigating a burglary that occurred in the 8600 block of Liberia Avenue between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Saturday.

The burglary suspect(s) entered the home through a rear sliding glass door. Police said it was obvious someone had entered the residence but nothing appeared to have been taken from the residence.

Police continue to investigate both incidents. Anyone with information about the incident(s) or suspect(s) is asked to call The Manassas City Crime Solvers at their confidential 24-hour tip line.
