Police Seek Man for Malicious Wounding, Grand Larceny

The man reportedly stole a phone, then swung scissors at an employee.

Prince William County Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole a phone from the Sprint Store on Sudley Road.

The employee saw a man trying to cut open a package with scissors and steal a $650 phone, and confronted him, police said. The suspect swung the scissors at the man, and ran out the store with the phone.

The employee was not injured.

The suspect was described as a black male between age 17 and 25 years old, about 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds, with short black hair and a medium build. He was wearing a dark-colored T-shirt and khaki shorts, a black cap and a dark-colored backpack.
