Police: Teenagers Nabbed Credit Cards After Roadside Assault

The victim sustained minor injuries, according to Prince William County Police.

A Manassas man reported that two suspects assaulted him and stole his credit cards while he was walking on Sudley Road, according to Prince William County Police.

Jermike Andre Pittman, 18, of Butterfield Street, Manassas, and Nicholas Andrew Hylton, 18, of Jarvis Court, Manassas, are charged with robbery and credit card theft. 

The 26-year-old victim reported at 12:30 a.m. that he was walking on the 8300 block of Sudley Road when an unknown vehicle drove past him and stopped. The passenger—who police identified as Pittman—left the vehicle and assaulted the victim, police said. The victim fell to the ground, and the driver—identified by police as Hylton—also left the vehicle.

Hylton went through the victim's pockets and took his credit cards, police said, while Pittman continued the assault. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Pittman and Hylton were held without bond pending a June 28 court date.
