Police: Woman Bit Manassas Officer During Arrest
Rebecca Lynn Jacques, of Manassas, is charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and public intoxication.
A drunk woman allegedly bit an officer on the arm as he tried to place her under arrest, Manassas City Police said.
Rebecca Lynn Jacques, 40, of Weir Street in Manassas is charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and public intoxication. The officer had minor bruising from the incident.
Police said that around 6:41 p.m. Jan. 11, an officer on the 8700 block of Sudley Road had taken Jacques to his cruiser for transport to the adult detention center, when she allegedly bit him.

Jacques is held without bond at the adult detention center. Her court appearance is set for March 12.
