Second Arrest in Vehicle Arson Case

Fire Marshals from the City of Manassas have arrested a second person suspected of setting fire to a neighbor's truck.


Brandon Curtin, 25, of East End Mobile Home Park on Centreville Road
 in Manassas, was arrested in Old Town Thursday and charged with intentionally setting fire to a neighbor's 1987 Ford Ranger pick-up truck in the early morning hours of August 29 after an investigation.

Fire Marshals interviewed several subjects over the course of two weeks and Curtin was identified as a second suspect in the burning of the truck.

One week ago, officials also Paul Edward Perude, 38, of Manassas, in the arson case.

Curtin is charged with one felony count of burning or destroying personal property greater than $200 and is being held on a
$10,000 bond at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center.
