Shots Fired Leads to Two Gang Arrests in Manassas

Manassas Police claims both suspects are affiliated with the Bloods street gang.

Two men are being held without bond after shots were fired in a neighborhood Tuesday morning, according Manassas City Police. 

Rickey Lowe, 23, of the 8700 block of Richmond Ave, was charged with discharge of a firearm in a public place in a school zone, reckless handling of a firearm, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, discharge of a firearm at an occupied dwelling, attempted malicious wounding and gang participation. 

Bruce Lansdown, 42, of the 100 block of Lambert Dr, Manassas Park, was charged with brandishing a bladed weapon, assault and gang participation.

At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the area of Lowe's home regarding witness reports of shots fired.

Investigators reportedly determined that Lansdown had arrived at the Lowe's home and an altercation ensued. Lansdown allegedly pulled out a knife during the fight, according to police.

And Lowe allegedly fired several rounds at Lansdown, some of which struck surrounding homes, according to police. No one was shot and no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. 

Both men are believed to be affiliated with the Bloods street gang.
