Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery at Gas Station

Robbery early Saturday on Liberia Avenue, according to Manassas City Police.

Investigators are hopeful security footage will help in identifying a robbery suspect in a weekend incident, according to Manassas City Police.

At 12:40 a.m. Saturday, the unidentified man entered the 7-Eleven at 8708 Liberia Avenue.

Armed with a handgun, the man approached the store clerk and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot with the cash, heading towards Portner Avenue.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 5'7" to 5'9", with a thin build. He was wearing a light/gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pangs and brown shoes.
