Teenage Suspect in Manassas Robbery Extradited From Maryland

A teenage suspect in the robbery of two Manassas teens has been arrested and extradited from Maryland to Prince William County. 

The 16-year-old Manassas male is charged with robbery and assault and battery. Police said that around 12:30 a.m. June 4, two other 16-year-old Manassas males were assaulted on the 7600 block of Cass Place. Three men approached them, one of whom they knew. The acquaintance showed a knife and took the victims' cell phones. Minor injuries were reported.

Police arrested the suspect on June 12, after they found him in Cambridge, Md. They also executed a search warrant at the suspect's Manassas home. He is held at a juvenile detention facility pending his court date.
