Thieves Steal Cash Registers from Gainesville Businesses
A dry cleaners and nail salon were both burglarized, Prince William County Police said.
The owner of a dry cleaners in Gainesville said someone broke into his business and stole the cash register while he was there, Prince William County Police reports show.
It happened just before 5 a.m. Wednesday at Gainesville Cleaners on Lee Highway. The owner said he heard glass breaking and went to investigate and found the front glass door broken and the register missing.
A neighboring business, Eden Nails, had also been burglarized. That business owner there. also reported that the front glass door was broken out and the cash register was missing.
No arrests have been made, but the two crimes remain under investigation.
