Three Arrested in FBI Raid

Two of the suspects were arrested after the FBI raided a car in the parking lot of a Manassas business park Thursday morning.

FBI agents served three people arrest warrants Thursday morning. Two of the arrests happened in the parking lot of a Manassas business park shortly before 10 a.m. as the suspects attempted to exit their car and enter a nearby business.

That's when FBI agents raided the suspects' car with flash bombs and guns drawn, according to witnesses at the scene.

It happened around 9:45 a.m. Thursday at a business park on Dorsey Circle, across Sudley Road from Prince William Hospital.

Employees at Virginia Radiology Associates, located feet away from where it all happened, said the FBI agents used their vehicles to back into the suspects' car and set off flash bombs.

Around 15 agents then swarmed the vehicle and arrested two individuals, according to witness reports at the scene.

Another individual was arrested at a home in Haymarket, according to  FBI Spokesperson for the Washington Field Office Lidsay Godwin. She said a home in Prince William County is also being searched as part of the ongoing investigation.

Manassas City Police Sergeant Eddie Rivera said city police officers assisted the FBI by directing traffic.

"The incident is an ongoing investigation with the FBI, he said."They are the lead agents in the case."

It is unclear at this time what charges the suspects are facing, but insidenova.com is reporting the arrests are in connection with a drug investigation.

The three suspects are due in court this afternoon at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Alexandria.
