Two Children Arrested in Grant Avenue Mob Assault

The victim told police he was confronted by a group of young people he knew.

A boy was assaulted and robbed by a group as he was walking near Byrd Drive and Grant Avenue, Manassas Police said.

It happened at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 at the intersection of the two streets.

The victim told police he was confronted by a group of boys he knew and least two of them started attacking him and tried to take his cell phone.

Police arrested two boys in connection with the incident, but are still on the lookout for more suspects.
