Prince William County Police Seek Assault Suspects

The victim told police he was walking home when a black SUV pulled up beside him. Two men got out of that car and began assaulting him.

A Manassas man was walking home Saturday morning when two man jumped out of a car and began assaulting him, Prince William County Police reports show.

The incident happened at 11:17 a.m. on Oronoco Lane in the Manassas area of Prince William County, police said.

A 27-year-old man told police he was walking when he noticed a black vehicle had slowed near him. The victim said two men jumped out and attacked him.

The suspects went through his pockets and took his wallet before getting back in the car and leaving the scene, police said.

The victim suffered minor injuries in the attack.

The two suspects are described as black men between the ages of 18 and 25 years old.

The first suspect is thought to be about 6 feet tall with a dark complexion and heavy build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and a bandanna over his face.

The victim was unable to describe the second suspect, but said he was wearing the same outfit as the first suspect.

The driver of the black SUV was a white man with long blonde hair.

Police said there were two other people in the vehicle, but the victim didn't have a description.
