Victim's Injuries 'Significant' After Assault by Three Men

The victim was unable to identify his attackers, Prince William County Police said.

A Manassas man sustained significant injuries after a group of men assaulted him Monday morning, according to Prince William County Police.

Police responded at 12:19 p.m. to investigate a robbery that the victim reported took place on Irongate Way and Winchester Court in Manassas around 1 a.m. The 24-year-old victim said that while he was talking in the area, three unknown men approached him. 

"The men assaulted the victim, knocking him to the ground, and demanding money," Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the department, said in a press release.

The men took an undisclosed amount of cash, then fled on foot. The victim was treated at a local hospital and was unable to describe the suspects.
