Woman Struck in Head, Robbed of Wallet in Manassas on Saturday

It happened early Saturday morning near Diggs Road Manassas Police said.

Police are trying to determine who hit and robbed a woman as she was walking down Forum Way early Saturday morning, Manassas City Police reports show. 

It happened at 2:25 a.m. as she walked toward a 7-Eleven store on Diggs Road with her wallet out, counting her money. 
That's when someone struck her in the head and demanded her wallet before grabbing it from her, police said. 
The woman was treated for minor injuries and was able to describe her attacker as a black woman between the ages of 35 and 40 years old. The suspect is about 220 pounds and 5'6" tall. 
 She was last seen with her hair styled in "corn row" braids wearing black sweatpants and a black shirt with yellow writing.
