Water Safe to Use But May be Discolored, Says City
Nokesville Road water main damaged Monday, according to City of Manassas
Release, City of Manassas:
On March 24, 2014, the City of Manassas’ water main on Nokesville Road was damaged by a contractor.
Repairs have been made, but water may appear discolored. If this occurs, please run the cold water taps for a period of approximately 10-15 minutes to flush the line.
If the issue persists after running the tap, please contact the City’s 24-hour Operations Center at 703-257-8353. Please note that even though the water may be discolored, it has been treated and is safe to use.
