Water Tower Demolition Public Hearing Rescheduled

City Council will still hold a budget workshop Monday night.

A public hearing scheduled for Monday night at Manassas City Hall has been rescheduled for March 24. Several speakers were expected to address the council on the proposed demolition of a water storage tank.

"There is concern that the weather conditions could prevent interested parties from attending the meeting," said City Clerk Andrea Madden in a release.

The council will still meet for a budget work session at 5:30 p.m. The agenda also includes a proposed resolution urging the governor and General Assembly for "timely passage of the budget." But that item may also be deferred.
