3rd Annual Stand Strong 4 Education Expo Thursday in Manassas

The Manassas City Public Schools Education Foundation will host its 3rd annual Stand Strong 4 Education Expo, Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Mayfield Intermediate School, 8550 Signal Hill Road, Manassas).  

Amelia Segal, a meteorologist from NBC News 4 is the celebrity guest for the event. She will conduct a brief class for students and will be available to answer questions they may have regarding career opportunities in science and the media. All attendees will receive one free raffle ticket at the door, with the option to purchase more.

There will be free food, student performances from the Manassas City Public Schools Fine Arts Department and many door prizes, including an iPad. There is a $500 prize for the school that has the most participants at the event. 

The entire community is invited to attend Stand Strong 4 Education for food, entertainment, exhibits, school showcases, robotics, and more.
