MCPD is joining other area districts shutting schools Monday due to impending, dangerous storm.
Manassas City Public schools announced Sunday that schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane Sandy.
Parents should visit the MCPS website at www.manassas.k12.va.us and listen for Alert Now calls regarding announcements for further updates.
The city has declared a state of local emergency. All related school activities are also canceled Monday.
