Manassas School Division Opens Parent, Teacher Resource Center

The resource center celebrated its grand opening this week.

A center to help gifted and special needs children and their families opened in Manassas on Monday.

The Parent/Teacher Resource Center (PTRC) is located inside the Johnson Learning Center on Tudor Lane, said Almeta Radford, spokeswoman for Manassas City Schools.

The center, which was established with the help of the school division's Special Education Advisory Committee, is for teachers, staff, students and residents who want additional information about special education and issues related to various disabilities, Radford said.
