Osbourn Rolls Over Freedom, 52-6

Offense, defense click again and earn another victory

The Osbourn Eagles (2-2) extended their win streak to two wins Friday night as they dominated the Eagles of Freedom-Woodbridge (0-4) 52-6.

“They were a talented team but they just made a lot of mistakes and we were able to capitalize on them,” Head Coach Steve Schultze said.

Cedric Delaney again led the way on the ground for Osbourn as he rushed for 121 yards and 4 touchdowns. The scoring runs came on 15, 2, 16 and one yard scampers.

The offense found a rhythm quickly, jumping out to 14-0 lead by the end of the first quarter, while the defense never allowed their opponent to find that rhythm.

“We put up a lot of points, but our defense deserves a lot of credit because they played really well again this week,” Schultze said.
