Parkour Gyms Offer Unique Workout Experience

It might seem outrageous to see action heroes sprint up walls and jump over buildings in all the big summer blockbusters. But more Northern Virginia residents are using similar moves in the exercise known as parkour.

Salil Maniktahla, owner of the Urban Evolution parkour gyms, has fueled this particular revolution by opening locations in Alexandria and Manassas, as well as programs at Fredericksburg's Polar Fitness.
