Stonewall Jackson High Footballer Commits to Hokies

Greg Stroman of Manassas said he intends to sign on to play football for the Virginia Tech Hokies in February.

Stonewall Jackson High School quarterback Greg Stroman intends to be Hokie football player come fall 2014. 

Stroman recently announced he intends to sign on with the Virginia Tech football team in February, hamptonroads.com reports.  Any verbal commitments made to a college by a student aren't binding until the February signing day. 

The 5 foot 11, 160-pound Stroman recently made the announcement at his school and credits Hokies defensive back coach Torrian Gray for getting him to Blacksburg. 

Hamptonroads.com reports Stroman had 20 touchdowns, seven interceptions and  threw for 1,667 yards last year.
