Since the start of the 2012 Summer Olympics have started, you may be wanting to try your hand at a new sport, like fencing.
You are in luck. Ronin Fencing Foundation, which "focuses on expanding the sport of fencing" in the region has set up shop in Manassas.
Starting in June, RFF began offering instruction and training for the sport at the , located off of Wellington Road.
RFF offers a variety of fencing classes for youth and adults—from beginner classes to competitive and private lessons—Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings. For a complete schedule of classes, visit the site.
RFF is a nonprofit founded by a Woodbridge High School teacher who wanted to make fencing "fun, accessible, and affordable" for anyone who was interested, accoridng to the foundation's website. Now the club has the best composite team of advanced foil fencers in the Mid-Atlantic region.
