The Pink House, a landmark at a gateway to Old Town Manassas, is soon to be available.

Currently the home of Pink House Antiques at 9201 Prescott Ave., the house is believed to be over 100 years old and adjoins another property for sale, the former Mibario restaurant, at 9203 Prescott Ave.

Both are owned by Pink House Antiques proprietor John Brown.

"I think it has been moved three times" said Brown about the Pink House structure, "The last time it was moved from the stop sign" pointing out the 9201 Prescott Street entrance a couple of hundred feet away.  Believed to have last been moved for road improvements for a local grocery store (currently Blooms), the 3-story structure has retained much of its Victorian charm.

When asked about the antique store, Brown indicated that since their our no buyers at present the store remains open until the future of the property is determined.  The neighboring restaurant remains closed.

Brown is also the founder and CEO of Pink House Charities, a 501(3)c that benefits other charities including the USMC Wounded Warrior Regiment. Proceeds from the sale of a classic 1978 Bentley T2 are earmarked for that charity, Brown said.

The two adjacent properties currently for sale total approximately 32,900 sq.ft and are zoned B-4 commercial.  The Realtor is Terry Caniford of Crossroads Realtors in Old Town Manassas.
