Last Chance: Volunteer for Community Cleanup Day

Volunteers are needed to help clean up a local neighborhood.

The Prince William County Department of Public Works will sponsor a community cleanup in the Yorkshire/Loch Lomond area on Sat., June 16, 2012, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Dumpster containers will be placed at for the disposal of trash and debris that is too large for collection by refuse haulers, according to a press release issued by the county.

Volunteers are needed to assist in the event, which will provide families and groups in the community the opportunity to clean out yards, homes, streets, common areas, parks and streams in the area.
