Week Ahead: Trunk-or-Treat, Fall Gallery Walk and Absentee Voting Deadline

Local happenings this week in the Manassas area.

The Manassas Senior Center is accepting gently-used rummage until Friday at noon. The goods will be accepted Tuesday-Thursday from 9 to 4:30 p.m. The center is at 9320 Moseby St. in Manassas. 

Today, Oct. 29, is the last day for Manassas City and Prince William County residents to request an absentee voting ballot by mail. 

The last day to vote absentee in person is on Saturday.
Prince William County residents may vote absentee at 9250 Lee Ave. in Manassas or at the Department of Motor Vehicles satellite office at 2731 Caton Hill Rd. in Woodbridge from 8 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 8:30 to 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Manassas city residents may vote absentee in person from 8:30 to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and Saturday from 9 to 5 p.m.

The Fall Gallery Walk is Friday in Old Town Manassas. Follow the balloons to different old town merchants who will host receptions featuring local artists.

Trunk-or-Treat is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Manassas Park Community Center.  The event is a free, safe alternative to trick-or-treating. More information is at manassasparkcommunitycenter.com
