First Annual Prince William Cup Charity Soccer Tournament July 27

The Police v. Fire charity soccer tournament is pitting Prince William County and Manassas fire and police departments against each other in an "epic" soccer tournament Sunday, July 27.

Prince William County Police Association, in conjunction with The International Association of Firefighters Local 2598, is hosting the first ever Prince William Cup this Sunday, July 27.

Competitors will come together from several local jurisdictions including the Prince William County Police Department and Department of Fire and Rescue, the City of Manassas Police and Fire Departments, City of Manassas Park Fire Department and the City of Manassas Park Police Department.

Each department is competing to raise money for their charities of choice, including Concern of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), Operation Warm, the IAFF Burn Foundation and Northern Virginia Family Services (SERVE).

The free event takes place Sunday, July 27 from 4 to 10 p.m. at Patriot High School in Nokesville. The event includes concessions, a D.J., a dunk tank and bounce house, fire trucks and police cars, a child car seat safety check, raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle with all proceeds going to the charities above.
