Manassas Christmas Parade, Tree Lighting and Merchants' Open House

Plus donate a coat on Saturday and get a $25 gift card from Monza.

The Merry Old Town Christmas Tree Lighting is Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Manassas Museum on Prince William Street. 

Danu': Christmas in Ireland will hit the stage at 8 p.m. Friday at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on the George Mason University Manassas campus.

The 68th Annual Greater Manassas Christmas Parade
will march through the streets of Old Town Manassas at 10 a.m. on Saturday. This year's theme is, "Miracle on Center Street." Find more information at visitmanassas.org .

Speaking of parade, Manassas parade goers can score a free cup of hot cocoa and a $25 gift card from Monza if they bring a gently used or new coat to donate to SERVE between 10 and 2 p.m. on Saturday. 

The Old Town Merchants' Open House is from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The free event is a time for shoppers to meet the owners of the small businesses that make up Old Town Manassas and check out their merchandise.  A few of the businesses will serve light refreshments during the event.  Get more info on the Old Town Business Association website

Dizzy Pig Barbecue owner Chris Capell, will be demonstrating barbecue products in front of the Opera House Gourmet Gifts on Sunday during the the Old Town Merchants' Open House.
