I've done business with Ashby several times now and have always walked away feeling like I was appreciated as a customer. Their prices are certainly reasonable and supporting a local business should be something we all strive for. I have no doubts I will continue shopping at Ashby.

I enjoy supporting local businesses and have been using Ashbys for the last 8 years. On only one occassion did I feel not appreciated as a customer. They are fine for routine things like watch batteries, minor jewelry repair HOWEVER, when it comes to something beyond routine their prices are exorbitant. Just had work on a diamond ring estimated and they wanted 3x what I ended up getting in Fairfax and the work performed was significantly more than the original estimate. My sense on this one occassion was that they just DID NOT want to do the work I was asking them to perform. But I will continue to try them first for routine jewelry store work.
