Coles Elementary is named for the community it serves. The school,
which is one of nine Gifted Education Sites for Prince William County Public Schools, is the proud recipient of the county's School of Excellence award for five consecutive years, from 2002 to 2006. School colors are green and white and the mascot is the roadrunner.
