Volunteer Fire Company Celebrating 120 Years

The Manassas Volunteer Fire company is turning 120 years old at the end of April. The milestone will be celebrated with a gala on April 21 to be attended by area dignitaries, including Pennsylvania Congressman Curt Weldon, a volunteer firefighter, as well as other Manassas City, Prince William County and Virginia politicians who are planning speeches and proclamations for the event. According to Chairman of the Board of the Manassas Volunteer Fire Museum Peter Pandolfi, a 1966 Seagrave engine will be on display in front of the banquet hall on the night of the celebration, which will take place at Fox Chase Manor off of Sudley Manor Drive.
